• Reservations for Cadillac Mountain Access - MUST reserve ahead. 1st Sunrise of the US. About $6 per vehicle. (Guests buy this these up months ahead of time. sales of a held 20% open 2 days ahead at 10 am, its imperative you buy early, Screen shot or email suffices for check in at gate (s)   Acadia holds the 1st Sunrise of the US, (Mind you in June it's at like 4:57 am, with the effects of daybreak being at like 4 am. We are a 20 min drive to the top of Cadillac where that view is best enjoyed. If that is sold out, here are a few other options -      

• Cadillac Mountain Summit Shuttle - a new shuttle service for those who can't get parking reservations    

• 7 Places to See the Sunrise in Acadia

• Park Mobile App- for Parking in town Bar Harbor, Upload before you come into the area.

• Area Coupons - MUST order ahead of arrival, no instant codes - Ruth & Whimpey's, Bar Harbor Whale Watch, Ollie's Trolley, Nature Cruise, to name a few specials available

• Bar Harbor Whale Watch - Whale Watches, Puffin, Lighthouse, Lobstering, etc. Boat Tours

• Carriages of Acadia- Horse Drawn Carriage w/ buckboard that holds 12, behind 2 horses, takes guests on Carriage Roads to sections of Acadia not seen except by biking/walking/ or horseback riding. (There are 52 miles of Carriage Roads in Acadia Park)

• AllTrails -  has an app, that has maps of Acadia's Trails Galore. Upload while on WiFi, then you'll have a map even where there's no service

• Hadley Point Beach - is a nice rocky beach 1 mile away. Fires are allowed, You may ask for a firewood bundle ($6) and have a nighttime fire at the beach. Awesome sunsets beach too. There are no Fire pits at Eden Village.

• Island Explorer Bus (FREE in season 3rd week of June through Columbus Day)- Runs hourly, See Limited schedule

• Taxi Service

• Bold Coast Puffin Tours - fills up near Jan - March each year.
