Travel Protection Plan.

"This post link contains the details of our exceptional and unique travel protection plans available to our guests who book directly with us. Not only does the guest who books direct receive 17% off from the other booking engines they also get a multi night discount when they stay more than one night at Eden Village.

In addition, the reservation site that we use and love, gives the option to purchase a Travel Protection Plan.

The Travel Protection Plan. covers that time period after our regular cancellation policy (which is outside of two weeks to arrival)

So, inside of two weeks to arrival this plan helps guests to be able to cancel making a claim to be reimbursed from 75-100%.

When purchasing this plan Guests do pay for their reservation ahead of their stay - 48% at booking time and instead of day of balance charge of 52%, the 52% is charged at the 2 week before mark. To be reimbursed our guests file a claim for various reasons.

A few are:

*Inclement weather   *illness   *pre-existing medical condition   *death of a family member   *injury   *accident   *travel delay   *Vehicle breakdowns and the list goes on and on.

We highly recommend this because we will have guests call us day of arrival and say my flight was canceled or two days before, my father died or day of arrival, also, we got sick, or our car broke down.

Normal cancellation for Eden Village is outside of two weeks to arrival. 

You pay 48% to make your reservation then on your day of arrival the 52% balance is taken out at 3 am and there are no refunds for cancellations inside of that two week period or after the day of arrival for even an early departure, UNLESS you choose a Travel Protection Plan option at check out.

With the Travel Protection Plan you could do an early departure and file a claim, following the link given in your confirmation e mail, and you get reimbursed.
